On October 21, 2004, Dr. Arms Control Wonk will be on a panel, “Prospects for Peace and Security in Outer Space,” hosted by Jonathan Dean and the Union of Concerned Scientists at the United Nations.
In addition to Ambassador Dean and your humble author, other panelists are Theresa Hitchens (CDI) and Laura Grego (UCS) (see below).
The meeting will be held in Conference Room B (on the lower floor) from 1:30 to 4:00 p.m.
I’ll try to put together another 11×17 handout on the Near Field Infrared Experiment (NFIRE)—assuming MDA stops flip-flopping on whether it will have a kill vehicle or not.
