John Steinbruner argues that John Bolton should be denied confirmation because Bush Administration officials “initiated war against Iraq on the basis of an indictment that … was reasonably known to be false at the time. Bolton is not the most culpable of the officials that did that,” John argues, “but he is among the more flamboyant. If accountability first descends upon him he will have nothing to complain about.”
