Nuclear Test Watch

The Department of Energy is competing the management and operating contract for the Nevada Test Site, presumably as part of the effort by Representative David Hobson (R-OH) to increase competition within the national laboratory system.

Michaal Roston suggests that the competition might reveal some interesting information about the Bush Administration’s plans for nuclear testing.

For updates on the status of nuclear testing, I recommend Michael’s semi-regular Nuclear Test Watch.
