Sumitra Rajagopalan, a freelance writer and Ph.D. candidate in biomedical engineering at the University of Montreal, has an opinion piece in the Toronto Star entitled, “The politics of space weapons.”
I get a shout out, though I am quoted as saying there is $14.0 M in the budget for the space-based interceptor test bed (There is actually $10.6 M). [UPDATE: I received a nice note from Ms. Rajagopalan pointing out that CAN$14 M is US$10.6 M. “IT is a Canadian newspaper after all,” she adds.
